Folding carton gluing
At Reuther-Systems, we manufacture efficient and high-quality hot melt and cold glue application systems for gluing the longitudinal seam, for gluing automatic bottoms or for gluing 4- and 6-point folding boxes. This allows the carton blanks to be glued quickly and precisely in the desired places. Our systems also enable quick adaptation to different folding carton dimensions.

Reuther-Systems offers solutions with up to three separate application tracks for contactless top or bottom gluing specifically for gluing the glue flap. All application tracks can be switched on and off individually, so thata flexible adaptation to the respective requirements is possible. In addition, the length of each individual gluing track is freely programmable, which enables precise control of the adhesive application. This ensures precise and even bonding of the conically punched glue flap.

Reuther-Systems offers complete systems and gluing valves specifically for gluing multi-part complex sand cores in order to apply the hotmelt or cold glue precisely, quickly, with high repeat accuracy and cost-effectively. This is crucial to ensure the necessary strength of the sand cores while reducing the consumption of adhesives.

Bonding of battery cells
The reliability and success of battery cell production depends to a large extent on precise adhesive application valves. We manufacture these machines specifically for the production of batteries. The hotmelt or cold glue joints not only ensure the necessary mechanical stability but also the electrical insulation of the individual cells within the battery module. The design of our valves prevents the formation of air bubbles, which would impair adhesion.

Oil filter
Wrap bonding, base bonding, lid bonding and Z-fold bonding can be realized economically with our hotmelt and cold glue systems. The use of different hot melt valves and cold glue valves ensures flexible adaptation to different filter sizes and types. Round, oval or square filters can be automatically glued with polyamides, polyurethanes (PUR), EVA and dispersion adhesives.

Our non-contact nozzle gluing application systems offer an efficient and precise solution for gluing your wooden strips to produce solid wood panels. The optimum number of glue lines is automatically applied without contact depending on the panel thickness. Sensors offer the possibility to adjust the length of the tracks and thus ensure that the adhesive is distributed evenly, resulting in greater strength and stability of the solid wood panels.

Reuther-Systems supplies extensive systems for bonding a variety of materials (fleece, absorption materials and elastic materials). These materials are bonded using hotmelt adhesives. The hotmelt is applied by spraying and by contact.

Fold gluing
Reuther-Systems cold glue valves apply adhesives quickly and precisely as dot or line application. The adhesive is applied to the sheet without contact from the first to the last folding unit. The technique of fold gluing is mainly used in the production of package inserts, booklets and mailings, but is also used in the production of general fold gluing.

Waterscoring
Waterscoring, also known as waterline embossing, is a technique used in the paper industry to simplify the folding of paper in order to create precise fold lines. A water or water-alcohol mixture is applied to the desired fold line before the folding process. This causes the products to lie flatter, making it easier to create even folds without tears or breaks.
